Introduction to Automatic Cartoning Machines

Jul 01, 2026 Leave a message

An automatic cartoning machine is an automated packaging device used to complete the carton-closing process. Primarily used in the pharmaceutical industry, it automates the loading, sealing, and additional functions of items and instructions into cartons. It is compatible with cartons ranging from (45-180) * (30-85) * (12-50) mm in size, with a typical production speed of 80-110 cartons per minute.

This equipment uses suction cups, guide rails, and push plates to collaboratively complete carton pickup, opening, positioning, and precise material filling. The process covers four stages: unloading, opening, filling, and closing. It employs a PLC control system, a dual-vacuum suction cup design, and a modular structure, integrating functions such as batch number printing and hot melt adhesive sealing. It is also equipped with a self-diagnostic device. Specific requirements exist for the carton's structural precision (250-350 g/m²) and the instruction manual's specifications (50-60 g/m²). Some models utilize food-grade stainless steel to meet hygiene standards.
