Working principle and core structure analysis of food cartoning machine

Jul 14, 2026 Leave a message

In the food packaging industry, cartoning machines are often considered simple folding and sealing devices. However, in practical applications, carton compatibility and mechanical coordination are often key factors affecting efficiency.

This equipment uses a pneumatic actuator system (0.6-0.8MPa working pressure) to drive multiple mechanisms in coordinated operation. The carbon steel frame provides stability due to its 1500kg weight, and a protective cover ensures safe continuous operation. The carton forming module completes the folding action through precise stroke control (adapting to a length range of 65-240mm). Its core lies in the adaptive adjustment to the different stiffness of gray cardboard, white cardboard, and corrugated paper-thicker corrugated paper requires greater crease pressure, while thin cardboard needs controlled crease depth to prevent tearing.
